A brief background on WAA:
Web Analytics Association (WAA): The association is formed to unite and fosters the interests of industry practitioners, vendors, consultants and educators, who use, sell, install, implement, consult, teach or train in the field of web analytics. The board of association created various committees to achieve its key objectives. One of them is “International Committee”
The international committee will facilitate the expansion of each WAA committee to regional markets, promoting international involvement in all facets of web analytics, ensuring that Web Analytics industry has a global voice.
As a part of WAA International Committee, WAA India team will be responsible for:
- Create an international community to tap into world wide expertise.
- Promote Web Analytics Association in terms of awareness on membership benefits, education, and events.
- Work with members to build a centralized area of resources for regional issues around the globe.
- Get involved to determine how web analytics should comply with privacy issues unique to India.
- Determine which Web Analytics standards require regional approach.
